SPEARMINT THE PLANT
Scientific name: Mentha Spicata.
Description: Perennial plant with a height around 30-100 cm., of the Lamiaceae family, with lanceolate aromatic leaves and small flowers. It belongs to the same genus with Mint but is a different botanical species.
Origins: Native in Europe and SW Asia.
SPEARMINT “BIOLOGOS” ESSENTIAL OIL
Technique: Extracted from the whole of the plant through steam distillatino.
Composition: Contains r-carvone, a compound that has been recommended as powerful mosquito repellent by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Scent: Fresh and penetrating.

QUALITIES
Anti-inflammatory,anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant, anti-convulsive, anti-fungal, relaxing, insect repellent.

Combine with: Essential oils of Bergamot, Orange, Grapefruit, Thyme, Rosemary.

Unsuitable for children under 6.
